Ok enterprise class was fun...but why did faci have to SUCK THE FUN OUT OF EVERYTHING??

He made the Human Resource Management lesson a nightmare!!!

Ok enough about tat...

Just now I just chatted with FC about someone....

Someone I dun like and told him about it...

He seems to understand wad I'm trying to say...

Which is good...

Actually I'm lucky to have a friend like him...

Coz in sec sch...I wasn't very close with lots of guys...

And he and Nigel are the closest friends I have in poly...

They are like brothers to me...

They listen to my jokes...laugh with me about it (sometimes at me)

But they understand it and tease me back too...

I told him tat on MSN...in which every single word was from the bottom of my heart...

Though friends have short-comings...but like wad Jesus said..."Love each other as I have loved you"...

Such simple words and yet they carry such a significant meaning...

CAUGHT IN THE RAIN

Yesterday I got caught in the rain....
I was walking home with Paulette and FC after sch....
We were the last to go back coz Cognitive class ended early...around 3??
IT'S A MIRACLE!!!


So on the way to the MRT station we got caught in the rain...
Well technically we were not IN the rain...we were in the shelter....but....
The strong wind blew the rain into the shelter...
My jeans and shoes got wet thanks to it...
Thank God I opened my umbrella to keep all 3 of us safe...
But sadly...I wasn't tall in enough...
Or maybe the umbrella wasn't big enough....wadever...
Anyways FC and Paulette's hair got wet...

We ran into Causeway Point's toilet to dry up and went to Old Chang Kee to buy food...
After we bought food...I said bye and bused home while they MRT-ed home...
Reached home and quickly bathed....I'm afraid of getting a fever...



Then today we did the same thing again...only there wasn't any evil rain....
We went to Old Change Kee again and I bused home...as usual...
However...on the way home...3 of us chatted a lot...

We talked about the Friday outings in which I can NEVER attend...
Coz I've got a church gathering with a few friends in which I am leading it...
So there wasn't any excuses for me to skip it...
But FC and Pau were really insistant on it...
But it's hard for me to explain it to them...
I just can't skip it...but I said maybe I could postpone it to Sunday...
But then I would have to tell my leader why....
And I can't just say "Oh I'm postponing it to Sunday coz I wanna go out to Orchard on Friday nights..."

It's real hard...and ok...not say I wanna give in to peer pressure...
But I really wanna go Orchard...but still have my gathering...
Hmmmm.....another peer pressure issue...WHEN WILL THEY STOP???

I missed like...3 of it...and I feel like I shouldn't miss anymore...
But then....honestly God is more important...sad to say...
But how do I break the news to them?
"Sorry guys....but God is more important to me than your outing...."
That's plain rude...and hard for them to understand...

Ok enough about that....
Today's communication lesson was ok...interesting topic....
But my team...welll...it was UNEXPECTED...

I got 2 people that I dun really like...and 1 I hardly talk to...the other guy was ok-ok but didn't come...
The 2 people I dislike are well..let's say 1 is very lazy...but talks-like-he-knows-everything-during-presentation...the other slacks a lot and does nothing much...
Ok...so the 1st guy is A and the 2nd is B...

I dun like A coz he did not do much today...but everyone says during presentations he will "steal the limelight and eat ur points..." which was proven true today....
He hardly did the ws...all he did was watch videos...listen to music and laze around....

I dun like B coz he also does nothing much....watches videos and listens music...and worse of all...i dislike him coz he did something...which made me jealous...
I dunno why...but I just dun like him coz he's like a "friend-thief"....
FRIEND-LIFTING IS PROHIBITED BY LAW!!!!

Anyways I did the whole presentation for the day by myself...in which I'm not complaining...
I'm just happy tat I did something useful...
And thank God I don't need to be with them again...coz it's only for this week...
I'm looking forward for next week's comm team...
3 more weeks till UT 3 and new sem...and new friends....sigghh....

I just wish tat SOMEBODY would be more understand and hang out more with me...
I remembered a cartoon character once said "Just because your friends dun hang out with you doesn't mean they dun cherish your friendship with them"...
I hope it's true...

POLY FORUM

Finally it's a new week....

Last week was so hectic!!!

I attended the Poly Forum Opening Ceremony on Saturday morning...

I signed up for it when the email was sent out...

It looked interesting...

And indeed it was!!!

The Opening Ceremony was held at SP and it was nice...

The RP people met up at 7.30 and we went off around 8.30....

I could have slept more but nvm....

The 5 polys in S'pore were there with 60 representatives...so it was quite a big event....

And the dress code was so rainbow-ish...

RP=Green

SP=White

TP=Red

NP=Blue

NYP=Yellow

So basically the ceremony was more of like a introduction thingy...

We were split into sub-themes tat we chose at the start...
The 4 sub-themes are:

1) Rights and Responsibilites of the Individual

2) Rich-poor Divide

3) Recession

4) Erosion of Culture

I chose 4 coz the others didn't look interesting to me...

And when the ceremony started...we had a Q&A session with the special guests...

My sub-theme's special guest was kinda like a funny guy...

He has very-the-good English and the way he briefed us about the sub-theme was the most outstanding and interesting...

I was glad tat I chose this sub-theme....

Then after tat we broke up into our respective sub-themes and had a mini-gathering...

My sub-theme facis seem fun and they got everyone hyper for it...

We get to visit various historic musuems to research on culture!! SO COOL!!

So anyways after the OC...we went back to RP with the sub-theme 4 people from the other polys...

We had a Gamelan session back in RP...which was very fun!!

We learnt how to play some instruments and play 2 songs...a wedding song and folk song...

FORMAL WEAR

Today was formal wear day for a class called Enterprise....
Today's lesson was like....a job interview kinda thing...
So we had to "dress appropriately"....hahah!!
I was surprised to see most of the girls in skirts instead of their usual "jeans-and-skinnies"...
And the guys wear all "suited up"...with only 4 of us wearing ties...including me...
Well...I'll just let the pictures do all the talking....
For now...we'll just wait for them to appear and for me to receive ir from SOMEBODY....

LAPTOP IS FIXED!!!

Yes!!!
My laptop is fixed!!!
The repairing engineer came by to my house...
And took out everything...
Then he said my laptop needs to change the motherboard...
And it's FREE!!!
So ya...I'm glad tat it's over...and I'm happily playing a new online game on it...
Oh and I bought a new pair of slippers...
This goes to show tat good things happen after bad things pass by...


And it also goes to show tat u cannot trust laptop bags anymore...


And also not to wear slippers to poly anymore....

DEMON LAPTOP AND SLIPPERS DAY

GREAT!!!
Just when I thought a new week has come and I could enjoy sch...
I dropped my laptop in the morning while waiting for the bus with Rachel...
I left it at the metal semi-circle bar thingy at the seat of the bus stop...
When suddenly...the bus came and when I turned around to grab my laptop bag....
IT FELL!!!

Just when I thought the day couldn't get better...I couldn't switch it on during lesson time!!!
I panicked...and of coz...was very disappointed...
When I brought it down to repair...I met up with Rach who accompanied me...
Then when we were approaching the IT helpdesk...she did something...
Something so accidental and malu for me...
She.Stepped.On.My.Slipper.And.The.Strap.Fell.Clean.Off.On.Its.Left.Side.

But I dun blame her...coz it was breaking off soon anyways...
But then she rushed to the bookshop and bought scotch-tape for me to bandage it up...
Lucky she bought it in time...
Thanks Rach for the help!!!

So with an "extra bling-bling" on my left slipper...I walked to the IT resource centre to borrow another laptop to use...
It's a "bling-bling" coz the scotch-tape bandage looked like a big diamond from afar...according to Rach...
Then thank God that I could borrow a laptop from sch for 10 days free!!!

I got it back to class and thanks to Nigel for accompanying me while I waited to collect it...
After sch and Enterprise UT 2...I went to discuss my church's school net outreach planning...
Anyways...just a bit of side track...I got a D+ for my Enterprise UT 1...
EVEN THOUGH I STUDIED FOR IT....
IT GOES TO SHOW THAT SOMETIMES STUDYING DOESN'T PAY...BUT SELECTING THE RIGHT ANSWERS DOES...

After sch net outreach discussion...bused home and installed a new game...DRAGONICA!!
Actually...I psychoed FC and Nigel (I know u guys are reading this) to play it 2 weeks ago...
Then they already downloaded it and started playing....tempting me to play...
But as we all know....I fasted my games last week...

So now...hopefully I can play this week...
But first....the no.1 priority is to get my laptop fixed...
I dun like Acer...coz I'm not used to it....

SUPPOSED TO BE

Today was like...supposed to be my sec sch band's concert...should be like...the 10th???
I think so....
Coz when I was sec. 2...the 1st concert I performed...it was called "In Tempo 8 Concert"...
And last year we had our 9th...called "TPWE IN CONCERT"...

The concert was postponed to 30th Dec (according Miss Jamila) by Mr Neo...the principal...
Thanks to H1N1...the concert is like....5 months and 18 days away...
I really wanted to see them perform...
It's like after 4 years of being the performer...I'm finally the audience...
It's like some cool "circle of life"....hahaha!!
Ok...I'm digressing too much...

Anyways....in other words...
I miss the band...
I miss making music...
I miss being part of the concert and....
I missed the concert...literally "missed" it....

Enough said...I shall go into a period of mourning for the postpone of the concert...hahah!!
(No bible verse coz I'm mourning in my heart...)

HAIRCUT

Just cut my hair this morning...due to 2 BIG FAT reasons...
1) I had to take a passport pic to renew my passport
2) Coz my mum said so...

She's like bugging me to cut it...coz she said it's too long...
I thought so too...but I intended to keep it longer for awhile more...
But then it's getting quite "unkempt"....hahaha!!
Nigel said tat too when he cut his hair...

And guess wad...I got another bad haircut...3rd time in a row...
It's tooooooo short...and thin!!!
And I can't believe it...
Sigghhh....

Well nvm....it's only hair...it'll grow back...hahah!!!

Had maths today....maths faci was ok....
Hopefully Eric is coming back to teach again!!
But I'm not saying tat Miss Ling (current maths faci) is bad lah...
But she asks too much questions...
As in...she really REALLY interrogates ur team....

Ok...anyways today maths was...hmmm...ok....
I understood the problem today...like finally!!!

After class...we had science UT 2...
Out of the 7 qns....1 was chemistry and 6 were physics...
And as some of u know...I DID NOT TAKE PHYSICS IN SEC SCH!!!
So I had trouble answering it...even with my 6th presentations to help me!!!
I hope I can like get a B...I got a C for UT 1...
Why can't there be some bio in it??
Which remains me...yesterday my classmates called me "Bio lecturer" coz yesterday's science was...well....about Bio lah...
So I had to explain MITOSIS...DIFFUSION & OSMOSIS and ORGANELLES to them....
Man...I really felt like a lecturer sia!!! (Coz I think I'm the only one who took pure Bio)...
This is of the moments where I thank God that Mr Hafiz forced us to study Bio by "heart"....

Then after UT...I went with Nigel, FC, Paulette and KF to Burger King at Causeway...
Didn't eat any coz I was on a tight budget and I wasn't hungry...like them...hahaha!!
Fortunately while they ate I RJed...phew!!!
Then suddenly outside BK I saw a familiar face.....Sheng Wei from e5!!!

He's a guy who joined band in sec sch at sec.3!!!
Which seems a bit late for someone to join....
And he was placed in my section to play the same instrument as me...
So ya...basically I taught him for awhile...then he went to percussion...
But ya...I missed him sia...
He was damn funny with his jokes...

Now he's like in Yishun JC...and is in band!!
He's even playing the same instrument as me!!
Hahaha!! So cool...for me lah....coz it's like...sooo "pre-destined" and all tat crap....

Anyways I'm feeling tired now...and tomorrow I gotta renew my passport...
Need cut hair and take passport photo...siggh....

Anyways it's been a long week sia...
So tired everyday after sch...bus here and there...
My hatred for long bus rides is beginning to pile up...AS USUAL...
And I have been standing on bus 168 for 45mins to sch for like....3 days in a row???

This week is prayer and fasting week in my church!!
So instead of fasting food...I'm fasting my evil games!!!
Yes!!!
No online games...no games...no nothing!!!
But I need to pray when I have to...
But since there's like different types of fasting...fasting games is good coz it's like something u can hardly resist....RIGHT??
Anyways fasting games is considered like a partial fast...instead of the actual "NO FOOD FAST"...
By next week...I can resume game time!!!
But this week of gamelessness has made me listen more in class!!
