SADDENED BUT NOT ABANDONED

Hey all...

As u all know...the results of the O-levels posting results came out...

Sadly I didn't get the course tat I wanted...

Instead I got my 10th choice: RP....Customer relationship and service management...

I just woked up yesterday...and tat was the first thing I saw...

I cried lah...and I was asking..."Why???"

I really wanted tat NP course so badly coz I knew I could do it...

I really liked tat course and now 80 bloody people filled up the spots...

I wanted to appeal...so when I went to the website to appeal...I saw tat the new COP for course was 13...

13!!!!

I was like..."What???"

Ok...so I spent some time thinking about it...whether or not I should appeal...

It's like...come on...13???

Why must bloody people who can go JC dun stay in JC???

Steal poly spots from people like us....now I know how Ma'am Filzah feels...

I wonder if out of the 80 B.P (bloody people) how many truly appreciates this course....

Anyways since God has given this course in RP...it might have a purpose...

Besides...RP isn't tat bad lah...although people said so...what only...

My mum's friend gave me some advice via SMS...and this is wad she said...

ADAPTED FROM THE SMS:

And tat is exactly wad I'm going to do in RP...

I know tat God has a purpose for me in RP...so I guess I'll be more "westernised"...get it??? Coz RP is in Woodlands...which is in the west??? Never mind..................

Anyways I'm sooooo over the NP course liao...I know of some friends who are going to RP too...even Ying Xiu!!!

Whenever life gives u lemons...make lemonade people!!! And sell it at super high prices!!!! =)

It's Chinese New Year!!!

This year is the year of the Ox!!!

Yeah so...happy moo-moo year??? Haaha!!

This year's CNY for me is quite boring...

Coz my grandparents and their siblings (aka my grandaunts and granduncles) have gone to Hokkaido!!!

I'm so jealous of them!! Hahaha!!!

It's like...snowing there...and they're enjoying nice Jap. food and hot spring baths...

So since my grandma isn't in S'pore...I did not rot in her house the whole day today!!

So indeed this year is a blessed and special year...haha!!!

REUNION DINNER

Hey all....

Yesterday I went to Hazel's house to play again....with N.K...Patricia and Nuruddin...

Sadly...Shu Ying and Puay Shan couldn't make it...

And I saw Nuruddin's new phone...SONY ERICSSON!!!

Hazel said maybe next time we meet up...we can have a BBQ...coz her mum asked if we wanted one...wow....

At first we didn't know wad to say...except for how cool it was for her mum to invite us...

So we decided maybe around March holis for JC people???

After tat...I bused myself to the library and took 27 to Sengkang...

Had reunion dinner at my grandma's house...

Then I saw my relatives there...

I have one cousin who scored 10 in O levels for r5....he's going to MJC...lucky!!!

Then I also met my 2 female cousins...both sisters...aged 22 and 24 I think...

Both went to SAJC and VJC...I felt so envious of them...

I think I'm the only one in my father's family who's going poly...

Hopefully can get in NP lah...

I read in today's newspaper tat polys are better than JCs...so I felt more assured...haha!!!

Maybe it's like a pros-and-cons thingy...JCs better...polys better....

Hello blog readers and viewers...

Haven't blogged in a while...

Lazy lah...and nothing interesting to blog...

Tuesday I went out with the ex-councillors...well some of them only in fact...

I went out with Masturah...Benson...Kenneth...Cheryl and Ewanny!!!

We went to Century Sq Food Culture for lunch...took MRT to City Hall and met Wanny there...

Then we walked to Marina Sq (another Sq) to play bowling... (yay!!)

It was fun lah...to see everyone bowl..except for Kenneth coz he didn't want to bowl...

Then we played at the arcade nearby...I played this "Let's Go Jungle" game with Wanny...so fun!!! I kept screaming inside the car thingy....hahaha!!! Too many spiders in 1st stage!!!

And then we died before we could kill the 1st boss...hahaha!!!

Then I played tat 2 player bashy thingy with Mast...I forgot the name of the game liao...

Then I also played the "hit-3-buttons" game with Kenneth and Wanny...also very the fun...

After tat we went to Mac for refreshments...

Then we took train back home...hahaha!!!

Then today I went to HPB (Health Promotion Board) for my annual health check...

I took the train to Outram Park and almost got lost!!! Hahaha!!!

My first time to taking train to HPB...lucky got the signs...

I followed the signs to SGH and to HPB...

Then I registered for my appointment...it was very fast coz I got appointment...hahah!!!

Then I went for this specialist checkup (which I always go for every year since P1)...

They check my height and weight lah...

Then got this ENDOCRINE clinic thingy to go...which is just a few rooms away...room 41 in fact...

U see...the rooms there are like "clinics"...dun ask me why...

So I returned the X-ray of my left hand to a nurse...and she was like..."Oh, u're not supposed to keep it" and I was like..."Oh...but they told me tat I could keep it."

Phew...fortunately I brought it back...like I was supposed to...

Then the specialist doctor whom I always visit told me tat my bone age is reaching adult soon...

Which means I have little time left to grow...no matter lah...grow or not it's ok...

So wad if I'm short??

SO WHAT??

It's ok wad...so long as I'm not terminally ill or wad...

At least I know it's natural and not some new disease...

I've come to terms with it liao...

Every person I've met always say "OH DON'T WORRY! YOU'LL GROW UP!! ONE DAY YOU WILL SUDDENLY SHOOT UP."

Lies...haha!!

Everybody's unique wad...tat's why everyone is tall or short...fat or thin wad...

If everybody is tall and thin...wouldn't it be boring???

SCENARIO:

TALL PERSON #1: Oh hey!! You're tall too!!!

TALL PERSON #2: Ya!! You too!!

TALL PERSON #3~99999999: Eh!! You all are tall too!! We are tall!!

GET IT???

Anyways it all boils down to a person lah...if u dislike weird people who are "ABNORMAL" then too bad lor...u are normal meh??? I think NOT!

Today I went to Hazel's house again...

At her house I played with Ngam Key...Shu Ying...her and Patricia some gambling game...

Ok not really gambling...but more like Tai-ti...(I hope I spelt it right...)

Then we played Snap and Donkey...and also Pig...hahah!! Gotta try Pig...guys!!!

Then just now Massyturah called me...

She say tomorrow wan go out eat breakfast...

I say so early??

Then she asked me to call her...

So in fact....she asked if I'm helping out for the sec.3 camp tomorrow...I said see first...

Then she checked if I'm supposed to help...but I wasn't...so she asked me to come along...

Then I agreed lor...

Anyways nothing interesting lah...

Just glad tat I made a decision to go poly and do DCPEE...haha!!!

I have finally decided which poly course I wanna go...

Since my plans for JC have been thwarted by the evil O level results...I'll just have to make do with poly...

I wanna go Ngee Ann Poly to do the Diploma in Child Psychology and Early Education...yay!!!

It's like a new course lah...so no COP...

And I hope I can get in...

Oh BTW I got 16 for L1R4...and 21 for L1R5....

So now I'm like going to register for JAE liao...

Ann after consulting many people...like my youth leaders...and teachers like Mdm Yasmin...Mdm Ho and Mdm Lim Chu Toh...

So I really hope I can get tat course lor...

By faith lah hor and trust God lor....hahaah!! Sure can de!!!

Lazy Sunday

Today I have nothing to post lor.... (phew?)

It's just a typical Sunday....

I went to church as all mentally-sound and sane Christians do...(hahaha?)

Oh and one more thing....

TP Open House!!

Hi u funny people again!!!

This afternoon I went to Temasek Poly's Open House with Nuruddin, Shu Ying and Puay Shan...

Oh and before I forget....HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY VIKNESH!!!

Haha!!

Ok so the 3 of us met near Puay Shan's house...which is near TP...

Then we walked over to Tampines West CC to eat Mac...a bit expensive lor...

Then we walked back to TP and crossed the very very very long overhead bridge...

As soon as we entered the poly...lots of people were at the entrance of the overhead bridge shouting "Welcome to TP!!! Welcome! Welcome!! TP oi! TP oi!!"

IT WAS UTTER MADNESS.... I tell you....UTTER MADNESS!!!

Then we got our goodie bag!!!

A nice, red slingbag with the words "I want to be..." on it...

I so felt like writing "I want to be outta here" but it was too fun lah!!!

TP was sooooo BIG!!

First we went to the Engineering School...where lots of poly students in purple T-shirts welcomed us and 2 people even gave us a tour...but we resisted as they insisted...

So instead they followed us while we went FREE-AND-EASY...

We walked around the whole corridor...collecting flyers and stuffing them into our nice bags....

Then we went to this 3D animation thing...very fun!! And Nuruddin tried everything...

So after tat...we went to the Plaza thingy and sat at the stairs to watch their performances...

Then we met Preeya and Khaliesah there...there were some Mediacorp stars there...like Jean Danker...Hossan Leong...and I heard Fiona Xie was there...and Utt will be coming down tonight for the Jam and Hop party thingy...

Then after tat we got some balloons(helium-filled)...it was heart-shaped and had the words "I love TP"...

Then we walked to the Design school for some designs...hahaha!!

Nuruddin was interested...so we approached but we had to register...

We were shocked...REGISTER??? Ok...so we did it lah...

Then we walked it...no big deal...just nice arty art works and a small fashion gallery...

We were leaving when all of a sudden...my balloon flew away!!

I tied it to my bag but it slipped out!! Bye balloon!!

And then we hurried down to the CCA Hub to get another one...hahaha!!

Then we went to the library to help Shu Ying borrow and accounting book for her sister...

But her card expired so we didn't...but instead took the lift 3 times...coz the book was at lvl 6...while the borrowing counter was at lvl 2...and we went up to find the book...down to borrow...up to return it...

We later went to the Business school and jalan jalan around...we then went to this TP's own Retail Shop called "1st Avenue" and went upstairs into these small classrooms to talk to the students and lecturers about the courses...

Then I was attracted to this Diploma in Business and Information Technology...and also Diploma in Tourism and Leisure...

Everything in the Business school sounded fun and interesting...

I felt like going poly...but I wanna go JC!!! HELP!!!!

Then we slacked abit at a study area coz we were tired!!!

Then I bought this F&N Grape drink from this vending machine...40 cents only!!!

After tat...we were invited by random students to watch this LT show...ok I dun know wad LT meant but they said tat show is funny!! And it was!!!

We went in at 4.30pm...5 mins before the show started...and we were the only ones there!!

After a while...more people came in and the room was so noisy...

Then we watched this funny show entitled "The search for the next top TP model...student!"

The laughter ended when the show ended...obviously...

So after the show...we went off and walked a bit more...then Nuruddin said "Bye" to his balloon and released it into the air...wishing everyone good luck for the O levels...I released it too later on...

Anyways...GOOD LUCK TO ALL O-LEVEL STUDENTS!!!

Disappointed and tired

Ello, blogreadas!!

As u all know...today I went to school with Nuruddin...Shu Ying and Puay Shan to help Mdm Ho edit our SGCs(refer to previous post)...

So today as I entered the sch I had to get a VISITORS' PASS...

Skip all the blah and as we were doing the SGCs...Mdm Ho treated each of us to Green Tea!! Yay!!

But she assured us of tat JACK'S PLACE lunch...yes!!!

Then as we were editing the SGCs happily (again)...we all read out loud the things written on the SGCs...

Some were really glamourised...like..."Sean is a warm student with a cheerful disposition" or "With determination, Nuruddin will succeed in his endeavours" and "Shu Ying is a wonderful student with blah blah blah..."

U get it...we are the *GLAMOURISERS!*

So we spent 4 hours in the Staff Trainee Room glamourising and editing SGCs...

After tat some error occured as Mdm Ho printed out the edited copies...which turned out to be the old copies....

So 4 hours of sweat and aching fingers were wasted...

Which means...everyone will be getting it on next Monday...after the results are being released!! AHHHHHH!!!!

Anywho...we packed up and left after a job well done...

I went to pick up my cheque (ka-ching!!) for my EAGLES award!! I'm not telling how much...but it's between $149~$151....GO FIGURE!

Then we 4 agreed to meet again on Sat noon to go for TP's Open House! Alright!!

I wish we could go to the same school together...

I will miss everyone in my class....

This afternoon I'm back sch!!!

Yay!! Long time never go back liao...since band BBQ...

Anyways I'm going back with Shu Ying...Nuruddin and Puay Shan(Pauline-haha!!)...

We're helping Mdm Ho(my form teacher) to edit my classmates' SGCs...tat's short for School Graduation Certificate...

Ok..so it's like...me and Udin met her at our band BBQ back at sch...

So she said she needed our help to help her....

So it's like HELP-HER-TO-HELP-US-GET-OUR-SGCs...

Then we agreed and Udin requested for a REWARD...

So Mdm Ho thought for a while and said...

JACK'S PLACE!!!

We were so happy and immmediately promised...

Then she said it's supposed to on the 7th...which was yesterday...meet in sch at 9am...

But on Sat she called to say tat she wanted to change it to 3pm...

But we like not free...

When I heard about it...I told Udin and Shu Ying when we were at Hazel's house(refer to previous post)...

They were unhappy...coz....

9am on Wed allowed us to enjoy the lunch Mdm Ho was about to treat us to...

But 3pm didn't....go do the Maths...lunch???

So Udin cheekily called Mdm Ho using Hazel's home phone and wanted her to change the time...

We agreed to Thursday(today) at 1pm in sch...

But still...we were MORE interested in the reward...coz we were afraid she might go back on her word...

Fortunately...last night Mdm Ho smsed me to confirm the time/venue...

I asked her about the JACK'S PLACE!!!

She told us not to worry and said tat she "won't run away"....ok....

So the problem was solved!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the reward!!!

Oh come on...we're not free child labour you know...

Yay!! Today no need go school!! I'm so happy!!

I'M STILL ON POST-O-LEVELS HOLIDAYS!! TAKE THAT PEOPLE IN SCHOOL!!!

Ok...now tat we've established that...

I went to Hazel's house yesterday, with Nuruddin, Ngam Key, Shu Ying and Patricia from e2

Very nice lor, her house.

It's like a nice condo thingy...she said tat it's a RESORT CONDO...

Well, I have to admit it...it really looks like a resort...BTW...it's Changi Rise condo...

Go visit her!!! Hahaha!!!

I met Nuruddin at the bus stop near Blk 449...I told him I'll be there by 1.40...but I reached at 1.50pm...sorry Nuruddin!!!

It was like...the end of school and lots of East View Sec. sch students were at tat stop...they were staring at me...like..."Why this boy like never go sch?"

I felt awkward...yet a bit proud..haha!!!!

Then we took bus 38 and alighted at Melville Park...

Walk and walk to Changi Rise...behind Melville Park...

Skip boring details but we actually walked to the guard house and registered...(!!!!!)

So we played Monopoly at her house....it was so cozy!!

Her room so neat (yes I went in) and soooo CONDO-Y...

Monopoly was fun...till Ngam Key didn't even bought any property for the first few rounds...she was like..."Agh!! I wanna buy a house!!"

So eventually we only played Monopoly...i brought UPWORDS but nobody wan play coz only 4 people can play...and there were 6 of us...

After Monopoly...Ngam Key was relieved...

Then we played on Hazel's keyboard and Ngam Key was like a pro lah...

Nuruddin played tat Titanic song...well done udin!!

Then I played on Hazel's bro's comp...his name is Russell...cool...she has a younger bro...

There were no games but I surfed the net...

Then as I surfed the net...I read Syaza's blog...(yes I did brownie!!) and it had a picture of me screaming onboard the cable-car in Hong Kong...

I have no comments relating on tat issue.......NO COMMENTS!!!

Then Shu Ying asked me to go to Puay Shan's blog...then I read her lala blog...

Quite cool...but she said I was evil!!! And also about the "That's so sean!" or "That's so childish!"
and "That's so October 1st!"....ughhh....Puay-puay...

I used to call Puay Shan "Pauline" last year in class...coz she needed a Christian name DESPERATELY...

Then she called me "Sofy" (pls dun be confused with the sanitary pad) but I had a name liao wad...

So back at Hazel's house...we stumbled upon a stunning revelation...

LISTEN UP O-LEVEL PEOPLE!!!

We read on some TP forum thingy tat O-level results might be released on the 12th of January!!

Well, for all we know...results are going to be released in mid-Jan...so maybe it's 12th??

There's some story behind it...like about this woman who committed crime and was sentenced...but she appealed for another day coz she wan see her daughter get O-level results...

So the judge gave her on the 19th to be sentenced...

Then some guy said if she is sentenced on 19th...then maybe results on 12th coz of some days for JAE thingy and posting results...

Then last night I chatted with my senior..JASMINE!!!

She's in TPJC then she told me all about TPJC life...quite cool

I hope I can get in there...with Joel and Yan Jun....I miss them dearly...(You heard tat Yan Jun??)

This morning I woke up early and played MAPLE with Jie Hao from 10 till 11.30am...

MAPLE seems more fun now...especially if you're not alone...

I hate being a CLERIC!!!

I wan be SIN!!!

Anyways...tat's all I have to write...I typed like siao lah...so much...dun get bored people!!
